Hope as a Helmet
Hope can be tricky. A false hope can temporarily be as motivating or comforting as genuine hope but one ends in disappointment and frustration while the other ends in joy and relief. Just as the wrong helmet can create problems instead of solving them, the right helmet does not guarantee victory but it reduces one of the ways of defeat. Knowing this, God offers us hope…as a helmet.
