Love and Religion (1)

January 17, 2021
"Love" is among the most popular, misrepresented, and misunderstood words God has spoken. The phrase "Love has no religion" is widely accepted, but is it true? Who is the ultimate source for love and religion?

A Time for New

January 10, 2021
To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven. While not one of Solomon's examples, there is a time for old and a time for new. What can we expect from new things, especially a new year? We can expect things like uncertainty, change, and comparisons. How do we walk by faith through such things?

A Jealous God

December 20, 2020
How do you respond when you hear God identify Himself as "Jealous"? Do you know about "godly jealousy"?

In Everything Give Thanks

November 22, 2020
"In everything give thanks," Paul wrote. This may sound like other common, trite sayings ("Be Kind" "Stay calm and. . ."), but it goes far beyond such slogans. This year, have you given thanks in everything? In this lesson, you will be reminded of why you should!
Who poses the greatest threat to the introduction and growth of the gospel in the hearts of men? Is it the strident, influential atheist or is it people who claim to believe in God and the Bible but who contradict God and the Bible? This is one of the challenges we face because of the many views of "God, Science, and You"! [This is the final lesson in this series]
There is a war going on, instigated by those who demand "Science without God!". You must choose a side in this battle, and choosing God's side means others are opposed to you. In this lesson, we identify challenges we face because of those who seek to remove God fromnthe science, society, and souls of men!

Pray Without Ceasing

October 18, 2020
In our meme- and text-crazed days, short slogans are a common method of sending a much longer message. While Paul offered no trite picture to accompany this message, he ended 1 Thessalonians by simply urging the saints to "Rejoice always, Pray without ceasing." Consider the power of the fusion of these two.

Israel at Jericho

October 18, 2020
Today, you can visit the site where the walls of Jericho once stood. Some experts even believe they have found the walls that fell in the days of Joshua. But visiting the site will not offer the insights that Scripture does about Israel's visit to Jericho. Those lessons are only available by the witness the Holy Spirit has given about those events.

God, Science, and You (3)

October 11, 2020
Whether you are interested in God, science, or yourself does not change the relationship between the three. With or without your interest, you are involved so it is in your best interest to understand how all of these relate to each other.

God, Science, and You (2)

October 4, 2020
Psalms 19 contains poetry, science, and ethics/morals in 14 verses about God. Do God and science belong together? Many of our educational leaders have made their opinion clear. What do you believe?
